The assistant project manager is responsible for assisting project staff with administrative and technical requirements on a construction management project.


The assistant project manager


  • thoroughly understands the project documents and confirms all materials and subcontract work are approved and comply with contract documents and quality specifications
  • assists in preparing bid packages and subcontract scopes of work
  • assists with scheduling and preparing reports for OAC meetings
  • assists with all project document flow
  • assists with submittal review and approval process
  • assists with RFI process
  • assists with change management process
  • assists with pay applications
  • assists with project schedule updates
  • assists with project closeout
  • demonstrates solid verbal and written skills
  • effectively manages multiple projects and appropriately prioritizes
  • promotes our construction services and builds business with current and potential clients by maintaining a track record of delivering on our promises in a proactive manner
